What are the odds of winning a house prize draw?

The honest answer: your odds depend on how many entries are sold in total, which nobody can know until the draw closes. Here's how to think about it clearly.

How the odds are calculated

If a draw sells 200,000 entries in total and you hold 15 of them, your chance of winning is 15 in 200,000 — about 1 in 13,300. Every entry has an equal chance, so your odds are simply your entries divided by all entries in the pool.

Because the total pool size is only known when the draw closes, no operator can truthfully quote exact odds in advance. Be wary of any draw that does.

Why bundles matter

Since every entry counts separately, bundles are the maths of the draw: 15 entries for £10 is fifteen times the chance of a single entry, at 67p each. Larger bundles bring the per-entry price down to around 28p, which is why most entrants choose them.

Only ever spend what you can comfortably afford — a draw is a chance, never an investment.

Guaranteed winner, guaranteed odds

Whatever the final pool size, the Win Amazing House draw always produces a winner. Someone's entries will come up — the only question is whose. Free postal entries carry identical odds, so nobody needs to pay to have a real chance.
